Engineering & Technical Support
FOLAZ Building Systems (FBS)
- Offers world-class design and engineering service for all types of steel structure buildings for different industries, with strong relationships with reputable business partners in the design and engineering of steel structures and associated concrete works.
- The service includes structural analyses, design & detailing of steel scope that ended with developing of approval drawings, design calculations, fabrication & erection drawings, constructability review & Technical detailed design Reports.
Fabrication
FOLAZ Building Systems (FBS)
- Have a strategic partnership with a wide range of steel fabricators to supply high-quality fabricated steel structures as well as PEB with full management control for all interfaces by FBS.
- Have the flexibility to select the best approved and qualified suppliers in the market for every single product (item) meeting high required quality to suit project-specific requirements in terms of project location, function, size, and target schedule.
- Follow a company quality manual based on all international standards and specifications which includes quality policies and standards applied during the fabrication of every element. In addition, a project-specific quality manual is prepared to suit project and client requirements and implemented during different phases of the project.
These will be implemented according to FOLAZ standards.
Erection
FOLAZ Building Systems (FBS)
- Provides complete integrated erection services/solutions for all types of steel structure/PEB projects, starts the erection/installation phase with preparing detailed constructability study supported with detailed project-specific method statement considering the complexity of the project, schedule, site logistic, availability of site equipment and coordination with other trades till achieving targeted milestones accompanied with Client approval.
- As a standard of (FBS), each project has a professional project management team with dedicated Quality Control qualified engineers, skilled workforce, and safety team to ensure project time schedule, project quality plan, and safety requirements to meet Company standards and customer satisfaction.
Maintenance, Repair & Strengthening
FOLAZ Building Systems (FBS)
- Owns the capacity & know-how of performing the needed corrective actions in relation to Maintenance, repair, or strengthening of steel structures.
Steel structures need regular Maintenance with inspection and monitoring, which if faithfully followed under competent management, structures can give totally reliable service long after their initial designed life cycle.
Repair is generally referring to any methods used to restore the capacity of a damaged steel member or connection.
Strengthening is generally used interchangeably to refer to any methods used to enhance the capacity of existing steel member or connections.
